UPDATE: CONTEST IS NOW CLOSED. No Comments Allowed Anymore.

What’s going on?

I’m running a special contest to give you the chance to win one of three full scholarship to the upcoming Musicians Mastermind 2.0 training program launching next week.

What is Musicians Mastermind 2.0?

In brief, MM2.0 is an intense and interactive results-orientated six-week training program that will teach you to get more exposure for your songs and music online, in print and on air so you can ultimately make more money doing what you love. It is delivered by weekly PDF lessons, video training and LIVE coaching webinars.

By the end of the training, you will have a full-fledged internet presence and a system for consistently growing your fan base, increasing your reach and making more money as an artist.

How Do I Enter?

To enter, simply leave a comment at the end of this post telling me why you deserve to have a spot in this program. I will then read all the comments and announce THREE LUCKY WINNERS on Monday, June 1st.

Hints: Tell me (1) who you are and what you’re doing in the music business, (2) what you’re going to do with the training you receive and (3) why you, why do YOU deserve a full scholarship to the program.

Good luck!

10 Biggest Music Business Lessons Learned

with 12 comments

Friends and readers, here is my latest report.

It’s a hand-written report. I wrote it when I was bored at a conference and had some inspiration. I haven’t had the time to sit down to type and structure it out - but I will do that at some point because I don’t like my handwriting as much. Just not sure when, so I thought I’d get it out to you as soon as possible. I wrote it in one sitting so there may be some grammar errors too.

Forget all about that - read it, live it and take action. I wrote it to inspire and teach you about some important insights into the business of music in today’s internet age. That’s how you will get the most and best results.

This report is for musicians, music artists, music entrepreneurs, instrumentalists, vocalists, songwriters, singers, music managers, music executives. Anybody interested in succeeding in the music business.

10 Biggest Music Business Lessons Learned” - hand-written by Kavit Haria

UPDATE 19/5/09: We’ve managed to quickly type this report up as some of you had trouble reading my handwriting. Click here to download the 10 biggest lessons report

Like it? Is it helpful? If so, I have two simple requests:

1) Let me know. Share your feedback in the comments section.

2) Help spread the word. Pass this along to the entire universe. OK, maybe not the whole universe, but you know… all of your musician friends would be good.

What is your most pressing problem?

with 28 comments

So the original Musicians Mastermind course that has served well over 200 musicians has now closed forever.

But I’m still very keen and excited to share with you whatever I can.

I’m in the process of writing a short, to-the-point, brand new report. It’s going to be free for musicians like you and will hopefully, if all goes to plan, be released on Monday 18th May.

In order to ensure that it serves you where you are in your life and career right now, I’d like to know what your most pressing and burning issues and challenges are.

I thoroughly appreciate the opportunity to hear and share with you what I have learnt over the years and from the experiences I have gained through my own music career as well as that of working with hundreds of musicians every single month for the last four and a half years.

Just leave a comment with your most pressing question - and I’ll do my best to cover it in my upcoming report.
